He was our 1st dog and we acquired him when I became interested in homing a Retired Greyhound. Not having heard of the RGT back then I called our local rescue centre to ask if they had any Greyhounds but was told "no, but we have a Whippet-cross" (?) Me being a soft touch, even over the phone I couldn't say no, so a very skinny, troubled Kel came to live with us in January 2002. It took him a long time to trust us and I believe it helped when we adopted our long awaited Greyhound, Grace 18 months later. He showed
her the ropes and she settled in wonderfully. Kimico (the Terrier-cross) was our next rescue and Joe (our majestic Grey) followed. Our family complete
Kel was Top Dog and a perfect gentleman. He kept the Greys and L'il Kim in line And I know without a shadow of a doubt that he would protect us and
follow to the ends of the earth We all miss the bones of him x
God bless Kel.
Love always,
Mum (Deb), Sis (Summer), Grace, Kimico and Joe-Joe xx
