The weather was against us today at our "kick off" event for the 2011 Pounds4Hounds campaign. Monmore Green Stadium and Ladbrokes very kindly dedicated the traditional bank holiday morning meeting to Wolverhampton RGT. All funds raised on the day will be donated to the branch for which we are gratefull and we would like to thank the stadium team for their efforts today. Attractions on the day were face painting, name the homer, grand raffle, lick the lolly pop and a childrens colouring competition as well as a superb race card.
The winner of the "name the homer" competition was Charlotte Ellis who selected the name "Charlie" - she chose a large 'Hope' greyhound toy.
The colouring competition winners were as follows:
Age 7 and under - winner of a large 'Homer' toy was Chardonnay aged 7

Age 7 and under - winner of a small 'Homer' toy was Paige aged 4

Age 8 and over - winner of a large 'Hope' toy was Dylan aged 8

Age 8 and over - winner of a small 'Hope' toy was Emily aged 9

Here are Chardonnay and Emily showing off their prizes:

Homer came along and helped to present the prize to Dylan:
