Victor who has no AKA because he was Victor when running.
Victor has been re-homed twice. His first return was due to his owner becoming very ill. He then went to a student house and became very stressed by the environment. As he was very thin and unhappy when he came back, we made the decision for him to say with us as a sponsor hound.
He has thrived on the attention of the sponsors who bring him treats and duvets.
His tail is back to wagging all day long and he greets everyone with a kiss.
When children sponsors visit the kennels, Victor is the first of the sponsor dogs to greet them and his gentle nature makes him ideal to take the youngsters for a stroll around the field.
Please consider becoming one of our sponsors to help pay for his care.

Nick is a big black male who has been with us since February 2003. In fact he was the very first hound taken into the trust's care.
He is unsuitable to home as a pet at the moment due to a recurring skin complaint linked to a medical condition. He needs medication and a watchful eye.
He was born in August 1998 and continues to be spoilt by his sponsors who visit him with treats and hugs.
He is the gentle giant of the sponsor dogs. Why don't you come to visit him at the kennels?

Mary ran 53 races at Monmore Green and, having retired, she now lives happily with Victor, one of our other sponsor hounds. They are the archetypal ‘Darby & Joan’ of the kennels. She’s such an easy-going gal who still enjoys rushing around the paddock, but then barks at us to let us know she’s ready to go back to her comfy bed! She is also very gentle with children who visit on sponsor weekends to walk all the sponsor hounds.

Very handsome Owney came back to our kennels following a lengthy stay in a home. He had two tumours on his jaw, which were checked by the vets. As he is not in any pain it was decided to keep him at the kennels as a sponsor hound so that we can monitor his condition. He remains very happy and gentle with visiting families that come to walk him. Your sponsorship will help to pay his medical expenses.
